The PSP fund is administered by The Public Education Foundation and invests in dynamic initiatives and programs that improve public education in Henderson.

City Council Approves Nearly $2.2 Million for Local Education Needs
Mayor Debra March, the Henderson City Council and the Henderson Redevelopment Agency approved the distribution of nearly $2.2 million in combined funding on Tuesday for local classroom, student and teacher needs as part of the city’s ongoing commitment to education. The funding will be used for a variety of needs, including: technology resources for students like laptops and Chromebooks, school library improvements, enhanced reading and math curriculum, after-school tutoring programs and an innovative behavioral program designed to treat students suffering from childhood trauma.
Community Education Advisory Board Hosts November Public Meeting
The Community Education Advisory Board (CEAB), an advisory partner of the Premier Schools Partnership, and a Board & Commission of the City of Henderson, will be holding their next meeting to discuss the future of Henderson schools, local achievement efforts, goals and strategies for success.

Hello Henderson Residents!
As Mayor, I hear regularly from Henderson residents that value providing our students with a quality education and are proud of our Henderson schools.
Our residents have also said they want the City to take on a stronger role in education. The City listened to what we've heard and established the Community Education Advisory Board to bring parents, educators, community and business leaders together to improve student outcomes. The Henderson Premier Schools Partnership is a primary link between the community and the Advisory Board.
This collaboration is designed to increase local input and improve the educational experience in Henderson schools. We are excited for the chance to work together to make a positive impact on our local students and schools.
The City of Henderson Redevelopment Agency & CCSD have an agreement to distribute 'Education Set-Aside Funds' to schools that are located or serve students that reside in a redevelopment area. These funds may be used to improve and preserve existing public educational facilities and/or support educational programs and activities as outlined by NRS 279.6855.
